This blog is about my adventures of the outside for the most part. When this blog started, that path included being the father of two great girls and the husband to a wonderful wife while balancing the life of being an engineer in the technology industry with my love of the outdoors. Current adventures are racing duathlons, running races (5k, 10k, 1/2 marathons), and occasional road bicycle races in the spring/ summer and then getting dirty in the fall with cyclocross racing. Fill that in with backpacking, camping, skiing, four-wheeling, reading, wrenching/fabrication, technology geek…… The path may wander at times as I and my family see where the road takes us. Who knows; we may find enlightenment, or may just have another load of laundry to do.
